Wendy E. (Bridge) Higgins

Wendy E. Higgins, formerly of Bristol, died Monday, November 13, 2023, at the Glenncliff Home in Glencliff.  She was born in Franklin, the daughter of Austin and Muriel (Rollins) Bridge.  She lived most of her life in Bristol, with the exception of about 14 years in Concord.  Wendy attended local schools and sent on to work for a period at IPC.  She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and worked at McKerley’s Blueberry Lane and the Laconia State School. 

Wendy enjoyed time spent fishing and watching the Red Sox.  She loved animals and the company of several dogs and kitties over the years.  Wendy enjoyed eating out and ordering out.  In particular, she enjoyed the Bristol Senior Lunches and the companionship of those who attended.  She was nourished spiritually in her attendance at the Bristol Baptist Church and the Bristol United Church of Christ.

She is survived by several cousins and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held, Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10am at Homeland Cemetery in Bristol, the Rev. Andrew MacLeod will officiate.
