Ronny J. Moreau, 77, died at home, Sunday, March 19, 2023 after a period of declining health. He grew up in Attleboro, MA the son of Ina (Frick) Venditouli and was fortunate to have been raised by his grandfather, Eskel Frick. Ronny entered the US Army and served in Vietnam as a mechanic and in mortuary services. After returning, he worked as a long haul truck driver and later in life as an auto mechanic owning Hill Sunoco and Ron’s Auto. He moved to Alexandria, NH in the 1980s and to the Franklin-Tilton area in 1996. Everyone remembers him as the guy who rode his scooter in the middle of the roads.
Ron had a big and generous heart, always trying to be helpful to those in need. He was a proud veteran and he loved to go RVing, especially at the veteran’s campground at the Weirs during bike week. He always got a laugh at the crowds and shared memories and stories with the other veterans there. In his free time, he had a side business doing woodworking and making furniture. He had a special bond with his beloved orange cat “Kitty”.
Family members include his daughter, Susan Somers of Northfield; brother Michael Vendituoli of Worcester, MA; grandchildren: Jessica Grace of Alexandria and Christopher Grace of Bristol; great grandsons: John Paul Davis-Martineau and Ansen Sargent. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a daughter Cheryl Moreau in 1972, and a sister Signe Cooper.
Interment will take place at a later date at the Seekonk Cemetery in Seekonk, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any financial assistance towards funeral expenses. You may contribute by clicking on the donations tab at the top of this page.
