Robert 'Bob' Evans passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, June 28 at his favorite place in the world, Newfound Lake in Bristol, NH. Bob kept his sense of humor to the end: When his son asked Bob if he knew who he was as the end approached, his response was 'Yeah, a pain in the ass'.
He passed away surrounded by his wife of 52 years, three sons and one of his granddaughters. He loved adventure and did not let lifelong medical issues stop him: cross-country motorcycle trips with friends, sky-diving, learning to fly a plane in his 50s, skiing into his 60s.
A respiratory therapist at Jordan Hospital for decades, Bob is survived by the love of his life, Donna Evans (Parlee). The two met at Braintree High School and raised children in Plymouth, MA and Bristol, NH, eventually retiring to North Fort Myers, FL. Bob and Donna have three sons - Joshua, Jake (and his wife Alisa Evans), and Nathan (and his wife Stacey Morrison); and five grandchildren - Victoria Cortez, Lila Evans, Tessa Evans, Quinn Evans and Wyatt Evans.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Angie and John Evans, and his brother Jack Evans.
Rest in Peace Pop. We love you.
And go Bruins.
