Bristol, NH-Peggy R. Moses, 75, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, after a courageous battle
with leukemia. Born in Scranton, PA, Peggy was one of three children of H. Ray and Betsy (Ross)
Delevan. The family moved many times during her youth, settling in Hudson, NY during her teenage
years, where she became a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints and graduated from Ichabod
Crane High School. After briefly attending Brigham Young University in Utah, Peggy returned to upstate
NY, married, and raised two daughters whom she leaves behind, Sheri RedCloud-Owen (Danbury, NH)
and Tracey Farrigan (Delray Beach, FL). Later in life she married a 2nd time (Edward Moses, widowed
2018) and moved to New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, an area she loved and in which she resided for
more than 30 years.
Peggy had a lust for life, enjoying the outdoors; hiking, exploring nature, and traveling. She was an artist
and creator who expressed her talents in oil painting, knitting, gardening, furniture making, and much
more. Genuinely interested in learning and doing, Peggy was always seeking knowledge, physically
active, and willing to take on any challenge in life. She persevered with an amazing sense of humor, a
great laugh, and smiling eyes. Outgoing and thoughtful, she was very involved with the Church, looked
after her neighbors, and cared for her family. She will be dearly missed by all.
Family members include her two daughters; grandsons Elias RedCloud-Owen of Danbury, NH and Robert
RedCloud-Owen of Troy, NY; brothers Timothy (Sally) Delevan and Caleb Delevan of Concord, NH; a
niece and two nephews.
Services-A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 27th at 6:30 pm at the Church of Latter-day
Saints, Fairgrounds Rd., Plymouth, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to
