Pauline Ann Letourneau Poitras was born in Graniteville, VT on June 1, 1931 to her parents Marion Boutin Letourneau Leboeuf and Eugene Letourneau. She lived in Graniteville until she married Donald Lorenzo Poitras at the age of 24. After Donald finished pharmacy school in Connecticut they bought the local pharmacy in Bristol, NH and moved there. In 1962 they bought the farm on Peaked Hill Rd. where she lived until her death.
Pauline is survived by her eight children and four grandchildren: Mara Capsalis of Bridgewater, NH, Ronald Poitras of Gilford, NH, Laurel Bishop of Taylors, SC, Elise La Brake of Tupper Lake, NY, Richard Poitras of Bristol, NH, Irenie Poitras of Aspen, CO, Charles Poitras of Miami Beach, FL, James Poitras of Miami Beach, FL, Aleina La Brake of Albany, NY, Genevieve La Brake of Ahtens, AL, Crag La Brake of Tupper Lake, NY, and Pierce Bishop of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Pauline Letourneau of Barre, VT, and adopted grandchildren Mark Chmielecki of Bedford, NH, David Chmielecki of Warner, NH, Steve Chmielecki of Gilmaton, NH, and Jesse and Lydia Poitras of Bristol, NH.
She died peacefully where she was happiest surrounded by her family.
