Marion L. (Halliday) Paiva

Marion L. Paiva, 80, died Saturday August 20, 2022 at her home after a period of declining health.  Born in Boston, Massachusetts, the oldest of two daughters of Richard and Alma (Baker) Halliday.  She was raised in Marshfield, MA and graduated from Marshfield High School.  Marion spent much of her younger years breeding, raising and showing dogs and horses.  After starting a family, she spent her time as a stay at home mom.  After the children started school she spent time dabbling in antiques operating a small shop for a period of time.  She also enjoyed gardening and crocheting. 

Family members include three sons: Richard Paiva of Milford; Todd Paiva of Ashland; and Shawn Paiva of Bristol; four grandchildren:  Chase, Michael, Cody, Jillian; several great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Finch of Marshfield, MA, nieces and nephews.

Services-A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 1pm at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, 1981 Ocean St., Marshfield, MA.   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the Lakes Region VNA, 214 Lake St., Bristol, NH 03222 or Pemi-Baker Hospice and Home Health, 101 Boulder Point Dr. Suite 3, Plymouth, NH 03264
