Jeffrey A. Richardson

Jeffrey A. Richardson, 64, died Friday, February 18, 2022 at his home after a period of declining health.  He was born in Franklin, the son of Philip and Natalie Ella (Shaw) Richardson.  Jeff was raised in Hill and for a while served as the town’s road agent in 1980.  He later moved to Alexandria and then Danbury.  For a number of years, he worked plowing snow and as a heavy equipment operator for the towns of Bristol and Danbury, Newfound Rubbish/Bomor Construction, and RP Williams. 

Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and keeping a small farm.  He would buy and sell livestock, fix old cars and enjoyed country music. 

Family members include his significant other of 24 years, Ella Braley; stepdaughter, Sharon Shinn of Bristol; stepgrandson, Liam Shinn; sisters: Mary Perkins of Andover; Linda Brooks Richardson of Franklin; Nancy Marceau Richardson of Franklin; Bonnie Richardson of Hill; brothers: David Richardson of Alexandria; Thomas Richardson of Franklin, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Philip Richardson, Sr., a sister Rose Marie Richardson, and nephew Philip Richardson Jr.
