Obituary

Gordon A. Adams, 72, died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his home after a lengthy illness.  Born in Franklin, March 30, 1951, he was the only child of Nelson and Fay (King) Adams. Gordon grew up on the grounds of Camp Pasquaney and eventually assumed the duties of groundskeeper, only moving off campus when he retired. He was a 1969 graduate of Bristol High School.   Quiet natured, Gordon kept a small but intimate group of friends who were open to his great sense of sarcastic humor.  He had an appreciation for old cars and a love of motorcycles and of his kitties. 

Family members include his wife, Shirley Adams of Alexandria; a daughter, Lisa Gilpatric of Hebron; a son Will Adams of Alexandria; granddaughters, Trinity Matthews and Teagan Gilpatric, great grandchildren, Callie and Kendrick Phillips; an aunt, Grace Peart of Farmington, ME and a cousin, Allen Peart. 

Services-A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2pm at the Bridgewater Town Hall, Rte 3A in Bridgewater.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Bristol Fire Company, 85 Lake Street, Bristol, NH 03222.
