Evamarie C. (Covey) Olsen

MEREDITH ---- Evamarie 'Evie' Olsen, 97, passed away at her home surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Evie was born on March 2, 1928, in Laconia, the daughter of Lucius and Ruby (Rice) Covey.

If she wasn't busy cooking or baking, you could find her reading, working on her crossword puzzles, Sudoku, putting puzzles together or at church on Sunday mornings.

Evie is survived by her daughter Nancy and her husband David, son Gregory, grandchildren Sara and David and his wife Katie, great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alec and his wife Rachel, Connor, Dylan and Olivia, great-great-grandchildren Ava and Hudson, along with many nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Elaine. In addition to her parents, Evie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Herman 'Ole' Olsen, daughter Kathryn and five sisters, Everne, Caroline, Eileen, Althea and Lucile 'SueLee'.

Services will be held in the spring of 2026.
