Demitri Zimmer

LACONIA ---- Demitri Jonathan Zimmer, 24, died on Monday, April 20, 2026.

He was born on February 24, 2002, in Laconia, the son of Daniel Zimmer and Judith (Doucet) Zimmer.

Demitri had an easy smile and a gift for making those around him laugh. In high school, he enjoyed soccer, lacrosse, and band - as well as the comradery that came with them. Demitri liked to spend his time outdoors, hiking and swimming and building things. He had creative talent, whether performative, creating music, drawing, or singing. He also had a passion for deep conversations about physics, philosophy, and psychology. He was a beautiful light, full of potential, that struggled with darker times as a young adult and left us way too soon. He is already missed deeply by his family and closest friends. 

Demitri is survived by his parents Daniel Zimmer of Holderness and Judith Zimmer of Laconia, sibling Kai Zimmer; grandparents Donna Zimmer, Toni Theberge, and Clayton Moore; and great-grandfather Roger Doucet. Demitri was also blessed with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family, actively in his life. Demitri's passing was preceded by his grandfather, Larry Zimmer.

A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
