Daniel Barbary

BELMONT ---- Daniel J. Barbary, 82, of Valley Drive, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Concord Hospital in Concord.

Daniel was born on September 7, 1942, in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late Frank and Margaret Barbary.

He owned and operated Barbary’s Barbershop in downtown Laconia for more than thirty years. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos, taking trike rides, going camping in Maine and interacting with his customers.

Daniel is survived by his loving fiancé Suzanne Levesque, her sons Tim and Lou, his son Daniel A. Barbary and his wife Mary, of CT, daughter Christina Polasko and her husband Timothy of Concord, and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Lindsay, Shawn and Daniel J. Barbary.

There will be no calling hours.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 2:00pm-6:00pm, at the VFW Laconia Post 1670, 143 Court Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
