Alexina Louise (Gray) Azotea

GILMANTON --- Alexina Louise Azotea, 81, of Loon Pond Road, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Concord Hospital – Concord.

Alexina was born on June 24, 1944, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Stephen Gray and Alexina (Dion) Gray.

Alexina enjoyed music, reading, puzzles and doing crosswords. She was a very faithful and religious woman. Family was everything to her. She loved nothing more than gathering us all together, celebrating life’s milestones and creating memories that will live in our hearts forever.

She remembered every birthday (always with a handwritten birthday card), celebrated every accomplishment, and offered comfort and wisdom when we needed it most. She will be truly missed by us all.

Alexina is survived by her husband Beinvenido “Ben” Azotea, Jr.; sons Charles Azotea and his wife Dawn, Steve Azotea, and Beinvenido “Ben” Azotea III and his wife Alyssa; daughter Alexina Azotea and her boyfriend AJ; brother Jim; sisters Lillian, Yvonne, and Jeannette; grandchildren Allie, Alanna, Rachel, Charles, Harmony, Angel, and Natalyn; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters Lorraine and Sally, and brothers Jeff and Cliff.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00am – 12:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12:00pm, also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
